Toolbar icon:

Use of update manager is almost same as use of download manager.

Update manager displays only files, already installed in your system and presence of newly released versions of modules for download and installation. You are not overhelmed a long list of files.

When you open update manager, list of modules is empty. First, you must click to button Get info. Program is connected with main davar website and retrieve information about all modules, available for download, but displays only modules installed in program. In the first column (state), modules are marked by icons. Outdated modules are automatically checked for update:

Rest of functions is same as in download manager.

After check of modules for installation, you can press button Update checked modules. All opened modules are closed, selected files are retrieved, unpacked in \temp\ directory and copied to \data\ folder. Old files are overwritten. After installation, module windows are opened as before installation, except results of the searching windows. List of modules presented in program is updated and if all process was successfull, all modules should be updated.

Information for advanced users:

  • There is no uninstall for modules. You can simply delete modules from \data\ folder (when program is not running) - after next start of program, library tree will be updated.
  • According of your library.cfg file, new modules will be after start placed to predefined positions in library tree or in the "root" of module folder (e.g. in "Books" root). You can configure tree of modules in Library manager.
