Verse Navigator and Verse History


Menu:Book | Back in history [Ctrl+Left]
Book | Forward in history [Ctrl+Right]
Book | Browse history list...[Ctrl+Down]

The Verse Navigator is a part of the toolbar - a series of three list boxes that allow you to select book, chapter and verse for any window with an opened book. The range of selection is according to the structure of the book and it is recommended you perform the selection in order: Book -> Chapter -> Verse
If the active window is not a book (e.g. lexicon or dictionary) then the content of the list boxes will be empty.

Each change in the list boxes is recorded in a verse history. This history can be browsed with the three buttons next to the list boxes: Back, Browse history list and Forward.

Browse history list command will display the list of verses you have previously selected (up to the last 30 steps). Click to reselect a verse.



Information for advanced users:

  • The verse history also records:

    - a double click to any reference tag in a book or lexicon. In case of book, also position where was double clicked.
    - a jump to a reference in the Command Line Navigator after pressing Enter
    - a double click to the result of a search in the window of results (preview, tree or table)
    - selection of reference from direct access menu toolbar
    - jump to reference from the bookmark
