Multimedia – Audio and picture options

Audio settings:

Delete temporary file after merge to AIX file
If you perform indexing of MP3 files using Audio indexing tool then the program will create a temporary text file with positions in MP3 files synchronised with scripture references. When indexing is done, the program merges the temporary file with the main AIX file (that can also be done manually in the text editor). When this option is checked, the temporary file is deleted after merging. If it is not checked then the file is overwritten at the start of the next indexing session.

Audio timer [ms]
Resolution of timer, when playing or indexing an MP3 file. This interval determines how often the actual position is tested in the file with data in the AIX file. If possible, use recommended value.

Buffer size for playing MP3 [bytes]
Buffer size for indexing MP3 [bytes]
On a slower PC, you can change the values for a better performance. But generally it is not recommended to alter this value!

Picture browser settings:

Topmost window as Picture Browser
If checked, the picture window is placed above all other windows. Available also from the toolbar menu.

When new picture is open, fit:
Determines how each new picture is fitted in the existing picture browser window.
